We have been very busy over the past number of weeks here in St.Aidans. Every class is working really hard at getting more active.
There are three main things that have been taking place.

1. Each child in the school has been given a My Get Active Pocket Planner in which they have to fill in their Active Homework for that night which is assigned by the teacher that day. Children may choose any activity that they wish in order to complete their homework but 10 minutes is all that is necessary.

2. Each class in the school have completed a poster for an Active School’s Poster Competition. Each class level were given a specific task with the Juniors colouring in a poster, the middle classes drawing and colouring  posters which highlight active activities  and finally, the Seniors drawing and colouring their own poster and creating their very own slogan. There will be two winners from the competition from each classroom and they will be announced this Friday!

3. We now have an Active School’s noticeboard. It is situated as you walk in our front door so don’t forget to have a look or tell your parents to check out all of our hard work.
