Huge congratulations to Emilia Lee Farrell and Charlotte Corless on their fantastic achievement of winning 2 prizes in the senior Sunflower Children’s Hospice Art Competition. We are very proud of them both. As part of the competition prizes, the school has received a voucher for Elverys and Andy Moran along with members of the Mayo Senior Football Team came to visit our school on Monday, 18th May.
To celebrate the occasion, we wore our Mayo jerseys or green and red clothing to school. We had a visit to the winner’s classroom, a question and answer session in the hall led by Andy, some photographs and a kickabout on the pitch.
Thanks to the generosity and support of our families, we raised an incredible €442 for this very worthy cause. We are extremely proud to contribute towards the important work being one to support this service for children and their families.
