Congratulations to all the Sixth Class pupils who graduated from St. Aidan’s N.S. this June.
A special graduation mass was held in the school hall on Tuesday 21st June 2016. The mass was celebrated by Fr Kilcoyne and Fr Lynch and was attended by all the Sixth class pupils, their parents, grandparents, friends , members of the school staff.
Mrs Cunnane welcomed all the guests and included a special welcome for invited guest -our former principal Mrs King.
After mass Mrs Cunnane commended the 6th Class on being a credit to the school and spoke about how they had embraced all school events with interest, enthusiasm and a willingness to do their best. She thanked The Board of Management and The Parents’ Association for all their work and committment to the school over the year.
She thanked Deputy Principal, Della Macken and Vivienne Lee (who deputised for Mrs Macken in her recent absence) for all their work and assistance and Caroline Walsh -our efficient and hard working school secretary.
She also thanked Deirdre Lee who provided the music for the mass and helped at the Choral Festival and Christmas Day Mass.
Refreshments were provided afterwards by The Parents’ Association.
