As a staff we chose to strengthen our delivery of Dance this year over the months of February and beginning of March. We have successfully completed our focus by;
- Assigning a dance plan to all teachers
- Purchasing Dance resource ‘Dancin’ Time’
- Laptop and DVD assigned to hall for the entire strand
- DEAD- Whole school Drop Everything and Dance over intercom on Friday 7th February to kick start focus
- CD of music resources copied and given to all teachers
- Dance workshop booklet downloaded and left in hall for all to follow
- Folk Dance booklet downloaded and left in hall for all to follow
- All PSSI Dance lesson plans link based on each class level were given to teachers
Unfortunately we had aimed to showcase all folk dance in the school hall that each class had worked on in conjunction with Seachtain na Gaeilge but for now well done to all classes and teachers on all their hard work throughout our Dance Strand.
