On Wednesday 25th February school staff and pupils came together for our Easter Assembly. Mrs King acknowledged all the great teaching and learning that had taken place in the school over the term.
We then had a short prayer service where we focused on Holy Week. The service included readings and hymns and the placing of symbolic items in Our Sacred Space.
As we reflect on Palm Sunday two children place a palm branch in the sacred space.
Bread and water are placed in the sacred space as we remember Holy Thursday.
A stone placed in the sacred space reminds us of Holy Saturday.
This pupil places a lighted candle as we reflect on Easter Sunday.
The prayer service concluded with a hymn.
