Second class children from St. Aidan’s N.S. received their First Holy Communion in the Church of the Holy Family, Kiltimagh on Sunday May 13th 2012.
After the church, we had a party in the school hall. We would like to say a big thank you to the Parents Association for our party and for making our day even more special. They had lots of delicious food for the adults and the children. We really enjoyed our party especially the party bags, which were full of goodies!

On Monday at school we celebrated our First Holy Communion with another party. We got a delicious cake and a special pen from the Parents Association. We had cake and treats and we watched a DVD. It was a brilliant day!
A special word of thanks to our teacher Ms Nyland who prepared us so well, to Ms Lee who directed the 3rd/4th class choir, to Mrs Cunnane, Mrs. King, Kathleen, Anne and Mattie who decorated the church and to all other school staff who gave so willingly of their time. Thanks also to all our parents for making our day so special.
