- On 8th June 2012 the whole school community gathered with invited guests, parents and friends to raise our third green flag.

- Senior Infants dressed up in their Water Wizard costumes. They sang a special water song with their teacher Ms. Lee.

- Banna Cheoil Naomh Aodáin added to the occasion along with the majorettes.

- Mrs King invited some children from each class to give a brief outline of the activites they undertook for this green flag.

- Guest speakers includeded Laura Heneghan from an Taisce,

- Mary Forde from Mayo County Council,

- Councillor Eugene Lavin

- and Fr. P. Kilcoyne chairperson of Board of Management.

- Mrs King acknowledged the great effort put in by everybody and paid special tribute to Ms. Lee who co-ordinated the project.

- As the Green School co-ordinator for our first two flags retired teacher, Mrs Commons was invited back to raise our third green flag.

- Mrs Commons and Ms. Lee raise (or should we say drop!) the flag!

- Mrs Cunnane baked a special Green Schools Cup-cake Creation for the ocassion!
