We had our final assembly for the school year on Friday 24th June 2016. The assembly began with a short prayer service as we remembered  and gave thanks for many events over the past school year.

We extended our hands for a blessing on the Sixth Class as they leave our school.

Special guest, Norma Grego from Educational Welfare Services, Child and Family Agency presented certificates to the children who had full attendance over the past school year.

She also presented certificates to those who missed two or less days .

Mrs Cunnane acknowledged the recent Science and Maths award  achieved by the school. She presented Mrs Claire Hichey with the plaque from Discover Science, Ireland and also presented Lauryn from 5th Class with a framed photo of the  Maths Eyes Award presentatation.

Mrs Macken presented certificates to the winners of our Puzzle of the Week Challenge which was held over the last term .

As they leave the school, Ms Lee acknowledged the contribution these pupils from 6th Class have made to our school choir .

Mr Donnellan presented medals to the winners and runners-up of our recent Soccer League.

The assembly concluded with all singing This Little  Light of Mine.
