Banna Cheoil Scoil Aodáin and the majorettes were out in full uniform on Thursday 14th March to welcome the Quaker City String Band and friends from Philadelphia to Kiltimagh for the St Patrick’s Day festival
As we marched in Main Street some locals came out to join in the welcome
Band members enjoyed some treats in the Cill Aodáin Hotel afterwards.
On St Patrick’s Day, as is customary, Banna Ceoil Scoil Aodáin led the parade in Kiltimagh.
Despite the cold weather and some heavy showers, the band members and majorettes braved the elements and did our school proud!
